There is a bug in the subtitles.
when I choose option ,then open preferences. And choose the "subtitles" in the left.
Then in the subtitles tab, there are two lines:
Encoding
Default subtitle encoding:Western European Languages(ISO-8).
If I click the button of"Western European Languages(ISO-8)",the computer will log out suddenly.
I have try many times, but every time, the result is same.
And my system is ubuntu 10.10, 64bit.
The smplayer version is 0.6.9(SVN r3447)

Okey this is getting more interesting :D

If you go to Options>Preference>Subtitles and then first click on the "fonts and colors" tab and then click back to the subtitle tab after that tap TAB button 3-4 times you can so highlight the encoding type and the with your arrow buttons choose the type you want.

But still this is a interesting bug. Click and log out :D
