Resize and black borders in fullscreen

I use SMPlayer extensively because it provides less choppy playback and I have an old comp . Nevertheless in KMPlayer I have one particularly superb feature.
I open any video in normal size (100%) and then also I am able to KEEP the video frame to that size when I go in full screen mode.( SMPlayer ALWAYS resizes no matter what I check in Preferences). So in effect, I have my (small) video in the center, and around it there's only blackness ( In SMPlayer remains title bar even in Compact mode) and I invoke the floating control (which is conveniently dark) with a mouse movement if need be.
Does SMPlayer have anything at least remotely similar to that feature in KMPlayer?
I added attachements to illustrate the problem-
