SMPlayer Support Forum

When I press the hotkey for screen capture or frame advance sometimes it will allow me to advance frame by frame for as long as I want. However, about half the time it will only advance 3 frames and then I have to hit the space bar and it will advance up to 3 more. My older computer has smplayer on it and never had this problem. I feel like there must be some setting (XP sp3) in there that causes this.
I've asked this question before (18 months ago) but got no answers. For the last year or so frame advance and screen capture worked fine and now it's back to this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was able to reproduce the problems. It seems to happen when using "dsound" as audio driver. Change it to "win32".
