playlist index

I have over 1600 video tidles on my playlist. Sometimes I forget a title and need to put on the playlist @ a certine place. I start @ the highest nunber and work down or in this case from bottom to top so I press the up butten I have a long way to go to the number I need so I try to go fast on the up butten and when I am almost there I get an error such as microsoft runtime C++ error and I have to start all over again. Is there any way to fix this bug.
