Multiple video frames/stills in one image

Hi,

I am in the documentary business and I have seen images with multiple still captures at different intervals of the video file in one jpeg image - and they say "made with SMPlayer" at the bottom? This would be really handy for me, as I make lots of short films each month for the company I work for. Ive checked the F.A.Q, and searched as best as I can, but I can see any details info on how this is done? Can anybody help?
