Using SMPlayer 0.8.4 I've apparently lost the menus and progress bar, because they're not showing up whenever I'm watching some downloaded tv programme. I can get the top menu bar back but not the progress bar, so how do I get them both back please? This is on Debian 7, with 'fluxbox' as my desktop environment.

Perhaps you have accidentally entered compact mode.

Right click on the screen, select "Video", uncheck "Compact mode".

Or just press Ctrl-c.
