MKV with "lavf"

Hi, i have same question. Same of mkv files don't played with "Matroska demuxer", but if use "lavf" all be OK.
I want use "lavf" to everybody mkv files, but "Matrsoka" is standart demuxer. How change "Matroska" to "lavf"?
