Presetting the volume level

As in VLC, but did not work anymore (using Linux Mint 15), one can set the volume the player will always start with. I had it at 50% because videos would start with different codec volume (to try to make it understandeable there is two different volumes), and from there I would adjust the volume in VLC with my mousescroll. In smplayer I don't find any settings for where I want all my videos to start at. I like the Global Volume option, but it also should have the option to chose for what volume you want a video one has never payed before to start at.

So just going to Sound Preferences in Linux Mint, Applications, and setting the volume there for mplayer2 did the trick. Now I am happy :)
