YouTube resolution stuck at 720p

Hi, I just installed SMPlayer. I've seen YouTube video resolution settings in SMTube. Default set is 720p. I changed it. Even then whenever I play any video, it gets played in 720p. I've tried different resolutions 360p MP4, 360p FLV, 240p FLV but SMTube just isn't caring about my set resolutions and playing every video in 720p. My connection can't cope with that. Solution please.

You can select the Youtube quality in smplayer, in preferences -> performance.
