Remove the floating control delay?

When I maximize the screen the floating control appears whenever I move the cursor, regardless of where the curser is on the screen. It used to be that it only appeared when the cursor was dragged down to the bottom of the screen. I much prefer it that way. Also, once the floating bar appears it takes about three seconds to disappear again. It used to be almost instantly, again, which I prefer. Is there a setting where I can restore the familiar behaviour? The floating control is also a much brighter color now, as well. Sorry, I guess I'm resistant to changes without options to revert... ;>)

There's definitely a change in behavior that I noted starting with smplayer-0.8.6.5847-win32.exe. Every time the mouse is moved or the trackpad touched, even the slightest amount, the floating control bar pops up. Then it takes a few seconds to disappear. I see in the Commits that a change was made to the floating-control code around that time. IMO, the way it worked previous to that was perfect. Just hoping .. is there a way this could be remedied? An option or something?

I'm afraid it's not possible to return to the old behaviour but an option may be added in the future.

Thanks for adding the 'bottom-screen' option. I know you can't revert to the original code but could a user-settable 'delay-time' option be added. Happy Holidays...

Yes, just created an account to share my frustration at this issue. I keep reverting to an older version after every upgrade as this is there is still a delay.
Excellent viewer on every other count.

Check r5963. Now you can change the delay.

Many thanks, rvm. That delay and floating control 'sensitivity' was a show stopper for me...
