Play RTSP stream

Does SMPlayer support RTSP stream playback?

I'm unable to play RTSP stream from any of my three RTSP sources: IP camera, VLC and Wowza server. I tested on Ubuntu and Fedora and have always mplayer error: No stream found to handle url.....
This is online example stream that works in VLC: rtsp://dw.edge.wowza.gl-systemhaus.de/l ... v-europa_l

This is my output from mplayer:

A single media stream only is supported atm.
rtsp_session: unsupported RTSP server. Server type is 'Wowza Media Server

It works by adding ffmpeg:// at the beginning of the url:

ffmpeg://rtsp://dw.edge.wowza.gl-system ... v-europa_l
