SMPlayer Support Forum

I am new to this app and really like it a lot. Is there a setting I need to enable for audio/video player control (play/ff/rw/pause) to be available when the app is minimized to the taskbar? Like when you place the cursor over the smplayer taskbar icon and the thumbnail appears with the controls visible and functional?

There's no such functionality yet.

I just asked for a similar request, something like wmp11 has for docking controls in the tool bar. I think this is a really good time saving, ease of use feature.
Anyway I just wanted to offer my support for your request.

What do you think about having them add a slider control for sharpness in the video EQ options?

I just came to check on some developments or updates and find this idea sadly ignored. Though I know it would be a great feature, I have not been able to spend the time to figure out how to do it on my own. Having a toolbar docked control for simple functions like play/pause and volume would be very handy. I use keyboard volume controls now but pause play and change channel (for streaming radio) would be very helpful. It gets annoying opening and closing the window all the time.
