Having trouble with some videos

The main problem is that the audio is way out of sync with the video and its because the video doesn't play very smoothly.

Here is the log:

Too many video packets in the buffer: (1342 in 33561989 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.

Try enabling the frame drop option in preferences -> performance.

that didn't help. vid is choppier with that enabled.

* Change the video output from direct3d to directx (preferences -> general -> video)
* Change the cache (preferences -> performance). Sometimes setting it to 0 fixes the problem.

ok those two things helped a ton. the audio is still just slightly ahead of the video but its not too bad and the video plays smoothly now.
