High CPU usage by smplayer process

Postby realnc » Sat Jun 28, 2014 5:45 am

I don't know when it started, but smplayer seems to use a lot of CPU time. When starting playback, it uses about 30% CPU. The mplayer process uses about 8%. When pausing the playback, mplayer uses 0%, but smplayer keeps using 30% CPU.

And here's the kicker: after stopping the video completely, smplayer still uses 20% CPU.

14.3.0 and latest SVN trunk both have this problem. Can anyone reproduce this? I'm on Gentoo Linux 64-bit. Qt 4.8.5. mplayer2
lgit master.

OK, Qt 4.8.6 doesn't suffer from this issue, it's been fixed. People on Qt 4.8.5 are going to be affected.
