SMPlayer no long works with WinXP-sp1, and possibly Win2000. Qt 4.8.6 is the problem. Last know good is SVN r6257 with Qt 4.8.4.

"Faulting application smplayer.exe, version 14.3.0.0, faulting module qtcore4.dll, version 4.8.6.0, fault address 0x00125dfe."

Possible to revert to the last working version of Qt?

Both SMPlayer and MPlayer require at least Win XP and you'd get a different error attempting to run on Win 2000. SMPlayer can be compiled with an older Qt and MPlayer would need to have a couple of features removed to run on Win 2000. I contemplated compiling and distributing a separate MPlayer binary compatible with Win 2000 but I didn't believe it was worth it since there is a really really small install base left.

I have tried the newer Qt 5 and it isn't compatible with XP.
