Subtitle Font Problem

Hi,

I've noticed for a while now that it seem sometimes SMPlayer doesn't use the ass fonts that are included in some videos.
I've only really noticed it happening on mkv files and when I ran the video on VLC to test if it was the file it works.
I am just wondering why this happens and if there is a way to get this working properly.

I can't reproduce the problem.

Could you send the smplayer log? (Options -> View logs).

I also notice that smplayer sometimes has trouble with the arrangement of signs where the fansubbers for example use a block of white space to cover the japanese text and put english text on top of it, sometimes the white space will end up on top of the text instead.
