When I click a video, I get a message that says, "The video you requested needs an open HTTPS connection. Unfortunately the openssl component, required for it, is not available for your system." There's a link for help but it says coming soon. Help a brother out.

Get the latest version, it contains the openssl libraries:
http://www.fosshub.com/SMPlayer.html/sm ... -win32.exe

Still doesn't work.

Is there any error?

I just keep getting this. http://i.imgur.com/FcyjOzG.png It actually started to work but the next time I opened SMPlayer, I got this again.

I'll check it tomorrow.

Does this version work?

I've just checked the link I gave you before (http://www.fosshub.com/SMPlayer.html/sm ... -win32.exe) and it contains the openssl libraries and youtube videos play ok.

Be sure you downloaded the right file.

I downloaded the right one but I still get the same message. I appropriate the help.

Could you send the smplayer log after getting the error? (options -> view logs)

STEP 3 RESTART YOUR PC.

STEP 4 PLAY VIDEO OF YOUTUBE IN SMPlayer.

STEP 5 ENJOY.
