i just realized this just now but i swiched to w7 in nov
and i told smplayer to re save downloaded files to F drive partition
and when i go to browse it say SM PLAYER BROWSER NOT INSTALLED
and took me here http://smtube.sourceforge.net/ on top that in browser the settings were gone i couldnt download or save audio
on latest version 64-bit: smtube-14.8.0.6619-x64.exe << HUHHH doesnt smplayer have it built in

Now the Youtube browser is not included in the smplayer package. You need to get it from http://smtube.sourceforge.net.
The package there includes the full version, with the options to download videos and sound.

yup i grabbed it then re installed the 6619 on top of it works again i had same issue w atube catcher
i put it in but it was missing the mp3 downloader so i put old downloader back in then the new version on top

also can i dl and use browser WITHOUT SMPLAYER
it must have installed it into smplayer because ADD REMOVE programs has ONE listing for smplayer

You can use smtube without smplayer in linux, but not in windows.

Because google doesn't like applications that download youtube videos and that could cause problems.

ya thats why some those programs that dl grooveshark given C&D letters and software discontinued
