I know the OSD font size can be changed durning playback by shift + Y and U, but I don't want to press the short cut at beginning at every video.

Is there a way to change the default font size of OSD ? I tried to manually edit ~/.config/smplayer/smplayer.ini, while I did't find anything.

I read the manual of mplayer, they can be changed by setting:

Preferences -> Advanced -> Options for Mplayer/MPV -> Options -> --subfont-osd-scale=1

--subfont-osd-scale=<0-100>
Sets the autoscale coefficient of the OSD elements (default: 4).
