SMPlayer Support Forum

Hello,
pc is a Windows 8.1 64-bit, realtek high definition sound card, SMPlayer last version, audio played through simple stereo speakers. The problem: MP4 videos, 6 audio channels; they reproduce voices as metallic (while music is normal). MP4s 2 audio channels and AVIs sound more than acceptable, thus I suppose the issue regards some settings of the player. Any suggestion?

What do you have in: Preferences -> General -> Audio -> Channels by default ? Try playing with those settings.
