"Check for updates" just seems to open a webpage

It seem like "Check for updates" in the Help menu just opens up a webpage to download SMPlayer.

But there dont seem to be any info about if i have the lastest version or if there is a newer version available.

So maybe there could be a real check and compare the versions and button in a dialog box to download the newer version inside the program without opening up a webpage, just like in other programs.

Or if that is not easy to make, show a dialog box or something that tells the user what version the user has so the user can compare the version number without have to know about going to the About SMPlayer menu item.

It would make more sense to open that dialog when using "Help->Check for updates". When no update is available, the dialog should simply say "Your version of SMPlayer is up to date."

I dont like software auto update so i always disable that.

"Check for updates" suggests that there is a check going on.

The dialog on the image it not clear as to what is going to happen when i press YES.

Maybe it should be "Would you like to download the latest version of SMPlayer".
Or "Would you like to open op SMPlayer website to know more about the lastest version and download SMPlayer".
Or something like that.

The info in "check for updates" dialog does not makes sense.

It says "Congratulations, SMPlayer is up to date.".
But the installed version is higher then avaliable version.
And the website says higher version number then i have installed.

New screenshot of mismatch in version.
SMPlayer says 14.9.0.7017 is the new version, but website says 14.9.0.7051.

After updating to 14.9.0.7051 it says that i am using the latest version, but it also says there is a new version, which has a lower number.
