I know it's not a big problem but i just wonder why when clicking pause (middle button) it takes a a fraction of second to stop playing the video.

It depends on the configuration. For example this seems to happen when using mplayer and the option to use volume control by software (preferences -> general -> audio). Disable that option and try again.

ehm..it's already disabled

I could only reproduce this issue with the option "use software volume control" enabled. Try changing the audio output driver.

i found a new info that can be useful

this delay (the big delay) happens only when i use the middle click button set in the preferences to pause the video.

if i click spacebar or any other button of the keyboard,the pause is more reactive. still a bit of delay but very short and acceptable.

So why is there this difference between using mouse button and keyboard?

now windows 10, but it happened in Windows 7 too (when i originally sent this message)

do you really see no difference when you pause a file with spacebar and with middle click?? you should run a video with fast movements so you will see that many frames will be played before pausing after using the middle click and much less when you use the spacebar.

What multimedia engine are you using? (preferences -> general)

i was using mpv and then i tried mplayer and there is no diffference
at least now i found out that mplayer has better audio (mpv has low audio) and it solves also my other problem
