smplayer run slower

when i turn down volume in smplayer to 0, the film that i play runs slower and i must stop it and re-play again to make it runs like usual. i use the latest smplayer and still not found idea to solve this problem

I have never experienced that problem.
Send the mplayer log (options -> view logs).

My computer is quite old and I never experienced this issue. Could you provide a link to a small video where this problem happens?

I still can't reproduce it. I play that video but the CPU usage remains the same even if I set the volume to 0.
What audio output are you using? Are you using any audio filters?
