It seems many people use adblock. This message is a way to inform them that just by disabling the adblock they can help the smplayer project.

Nobody likes ads but we have to realize that advertisement is the thing that keep many websites alive.

People install adblock software for a reason.

Getting a JavaScript alert() message the first time you visit the website is annoying to the user.

Just like if i visit a website and 3 seconds later a box appear asking me to subscribe to newsletters.
