Issue on play/pause click

I have linux mint 17.2 and smplayer installed from ppa (ppa:rvm/smplayer) so I have the newest version: 14.9.0.7042.

With this new version I have an issue: everytime I click play/pause during video playing (I tried with any format) smplayer just reload itself, it's like it closes and opens by itself.

Anyone with this problem?
I'd like to reset the smplayer settings, just to try and see, but I can't find the smplayer folder, I don't have .smplayer folder in my home.

That's weird.

The configuration folder is in ~/.config/smplayer
