Installing latest version on Linux

I can't seem to find way to install the latest version of SMPlayer on Linux.

The version from the Linux package manager just says 14.9.0 or 14.9.0~ds0-1. But i would like newer version.

The link on the Download page https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ ... d_Packages does not seem to work.

It seems sourceforge deleted the old wiki...

There's this PPA for Ubuntu with updated packages (they may work in other distros based on Ubuntu):
