No Sound When Playing Files (e.g.MP4) - Windows10 / SMPlayer

Hi,
First post for me, so hopefully I'm in the right place.
My videos used to play fine (picture and sound) on my old XP PC and old version of SMPlayer
Now have a super duper Windows 10 desktop.
Initially downloaded smplayer-15.9.0-x64 (a couple of days back).
My videos play on SMPlayer, picture is brilliant but alas No Sound!
When I use another Player, e.g. FLV Player, all is well, great picture and sound.
Did some googling and just downloaded the latest "unstable" version to update the old version
Version: 15.9.0 (svn r7234) (64-bit)
Using Qt 4.8.7 (compiled with Qt 4.8.7)
Using MPlayer SVN r37553
Did a restart.
Still No Sound

Could you send the mplayer log (options -> view logs) after trying to play one of those files with no sound?

Could be the audio device in the smplayer settings isn't configured correctly, I'm unable to reproduce on Windows 10.

According to the log the selected audio output is "null", that's why there's no sound.
Please go to preferences -> general -> audio and select another one (like dsound).

Only thing I can think is that when I first installed all the software (inc. SMPlayer) on my new Windows 10 desktop, I had No Sound.
My Speakers were still attached to my old XP desktop.
When I added this hardware the sound defaults (No Sound) had already been set on software installation.
Then again I could be completely wrong.
Once again, many thanks for sorting out the snagette.
I can now play vids again on my favourite player.
