I think the problem with the volume bar is caused by the default Qt theme used in Fedora.

If you select another style (Preferences -> Interface), for example CleanLooks, then it's displayed correctly.

I updated the spec file and I created a spec file for smtube.

I also created a repository here:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show ... mplayerdev

The smplayer package includes the skins and themes.
