SMPlayer Support Forum

Hi, I did search throughout the FAQ and this support forum searching for guidance. I installed the current release of SMPlayer as it stands today. I started my video along with an srt file and selected video-filters-add black boarders. My subtitles still show up in the video itself and does not get placed in the black boarder area. The video is a mp4 in case that is relevant information.

How can I get the subtitles beneath my video and I also messed around with aspect ratio, allowed black boarders in full screen as well to no avail.

I checked for help in the documentation and they as far as I could tell were older releases of SMPlayer -- help!

Could you send the smplayer log (options -> view logs) after playing that video?
