Can't seem to play ASX playlist

I'm trying to open/run webcams on this page...

I'm running smplayer 7492 x32 with mplayer r37831 x32 on Win7x64. Trying to open any random link gives me something similar to the following...

It seems that neither mplayer or mpv support this format. mpv says "Failed to recognize file format."

It 'used' to work not too long ago. I still have several links in my Favorites. I guess I'll need to try to find the old smplayer/mplayer that worked. Thanks.

It works if using smplayer with mplayer and checking the option "pass the -playlist option to mplayer (security risk)" in preferences -> advanced.
