I've been using SMplayer with no issues for a few months now, however recently I have been unable to play any files. So far I have tried mp3, mp4 and mkv files and none of them will play. The issue doesn't get resolved when using a different media player however as SMplayer is the only player that will give me a crash log I thought this would be the best place to try and get some help.

The crash log i get is:

I've now replaced mplayer2 with mplayer and uninstalled pulse audio to try and switch to alsa. However this still hasn't fixed the issue.

This is the MPlayer log that I get now:

There is no error in the log, don't you have sound?

Maybe the problem is in the system mixer or something.

I don't have anything, the file never even starts playing, no idea whats happened

I've managed to sort the issue, was my pc, nothing to do with the player. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for all the help!
