I read that you were planning to use mplayer rev 30369 in the next version. Just wanted to let you know that I've been having trouble with this specific version with HD divx videos: in some scenes the frame rate got noticeable low. The CPU usage did not increase to 100%, but the motion became noticeably choppy. Rev 30075 worked fine, as did the mplayer version included with smplayer 0.6.8. I have a Pentium M (single core, old) CPU.

Thanks for the info
It seems it's hard to find a good mplayer build for windows...

Just to clarify: it wasn't unwatchable or anything like that, it was just not as good as the earlier versions at certain points in the film. When a new windows mplayer build comes out on oss.netfarm.it, I'll test if the problem got fixed and post back here (hopefully I won't forget about it). Till then I'm sticking to rev 300075.

30694 is still broken. Looks like they broke it for good...

Do you have a link to a sample file? The DivX website had 1080p files and didn't have much problems with the non-full 1080 videos (something like 1920x800), some skipping but my hard drive isn't very fast. The full 1080p videos play perfect if I use a multithread MPlayer (I have a Turion 64 X2).

I don't think I can get a 2 GB file to you, but even if I could, 1 whether you see the glitch may depend on your processor speed 2 are you one of the people who can actually fix this?
The glitch appears at certain positions in the videos only, nevertheless, often enough that it makes one not use these buggy versions of mplayer.
