Hi,

I have the following sub settings:
-Use the ASS Library
-Freetype support
-Default scale 1.0
-Size 12
but what matter what size I choose, the subtitles stay really big.

Also, choosing "Add black borders on fullscreen" does not place the subs on the black bar.

Linux Mint x64 Cinnamon newest version as of today
SMPlayer newest version as of today
Mpv newest version as of today

I have the same settings. Have you done anything inside "Font and Colors" -> "Customize"? (I haven't,

Strangely enough, changing the outline and shadow does work.
