SMPlayer Support Forum

Hi,
A few days ago I updated mpv (0.21.0-2) and FFmpeg (3.2-2). After updating, Smplayer does not apply subtitle font settings. I'm currently rolled out the old version again and my font settings are back to normal ( I downgraded mpv to 0.20 and ffmpeg 3.1.5).

I mean the Smplayer is following the old mpv version or is the latest mpv versions problematic?

(I'm using Arch Linux and Manjaro)

My font settings as shown in the picture:


SMPlayer v. 16.11.0 (revision 8242)

I can't reproduce the problem in my computer. Using smplayer 16.11 and mpv 0.21.0 (built from sources).

I ran into a similar problem but I found out that I accidently enabled tablet mode which has a fixed font setting.
