Ubuntu 16.10, Full Screen, Video Tearing

In window mode, there seems to be no tearing. In full-screen mode, however, I often see video tearing when the motion is fast. The degree of tearing differs video from video. In some cases, there was no tearing in full screen mode, but tearing is visible during the control is shown at the bottom.
I played the same video with other players such as VLC, and it did not have the tearing, so I guess it is not the file's problem. I cannot use VLC because it has the well-known occasional gray pixelation problem (this happens to some degree in all platforms I tried, on Windows, on macOS, on Android, you name it).
I have changed a few settings, but I could not fix this full-screen video tearing problem. Any suggestions?
