SMPlayer Support Forum

I'm using SMPlayer 16.11.0 and I can't make Youtube subtitles (Closed captions) show on video.

I check thru all four Closed captions selection and still no CC is showed (same video played on browser have CC and can be showed).

What i'm doing wrong?

Youtube subtitles are not directly supported by SMPlayer but they would be available if you select "mpv+youtube-dl" in preferences -> network, "support for video sites". You also need to select "mpv" as multimedia engine in preferences -> general.
