I'm entering a URL from Youtube and it works fine (thanks!). It's great for watching sporting events replays since I have much more control. The problem I sometimes have is if I pause it. When I come back some minutes later and hit play it will close and go back to the beginning which makes me lose my place in the game. Is there a way to avoid this? By the way, if I remember it will do this I found if I hit the left or right arrow it will keep going. However, I often forget about this.Thanks

I think this problem happens when playing an online stream with mplayer. Select mpv as multimedia engine in preferences -> general and see if it makes a difference.
