Hi, I'm using LM 17.3 'Rosa', MATE 64-bit and I'm having problems trying to reproduce mkv files: The.Big.Bang.Theory.S09E01.720p.HDTV.H265-MRSK.mkv

I've tried:

VLC 2.1.6
Gnome-mplayer 1.0.8
Videos 3.10.1 (Totem)
Smplayer 0.8.6
[/list]

all of this without successful, any idea guys?

You're using a really old version of smplayer. Anyway please send the mplayer log after trying to play a mkv video (options -> logs).
