i have an external player for FLV
i was using w smplayer and WMP
called ISWisoft which was part of a converter software
i set up Smtube to open it like this

VI Player
C:/Users/im/zipped programs/vi player/vi.exe
%u

and right clicked the open with and all the time you made smtube it was fine
now when i open i get this IMAGE 1
IMAGE 2 is if i try paste the You tube URL in

IT DOES open FLVs on drive any ideas why all sudden it says NOT FLV when YOU TUBE is FLV
or does you tube not like external players now

ok NOW i got new SMTUBE 17.5 it seemed to fix my playing, it was VERY OUTDATED see other thread that quit i was using 17.1 but im getting sound no picture with the vi player is way get picture back

1 i got NEW 17.5
2 i had preferred quality on smtube as FLV i reset it to 1080mp4 and w flv gone from you tube replaced my mp4 the iv player sees it as a flv i guess -it should only run flv oh well smtube and my smtube i built run now with vi player i do occasionly get picture drop out
