Just one think missing here to turn complete solution is EPG (Electronic Program Guide)

It's really Thankful if you add External/Internal EPG support , a URL addition to download EPG for TV channels under playlist or favorite tabs.

Where can I get EPG data?

EPG data can be link via XML file or any URL, many websites provides EPG for Live channels

this would be super usefull.
I can't find any working STB emulator for linux and having the EPG info with the m3u list would be a kill feature.
