I kept trying to make the screen capture jpg instead of png in mplayer. Then I read here that only works in mpv. But I like how mplayer can screen capture and advance frame in the same step. Is there a way to do this in mpv? Thanks

Actually the screen capture and frame advance was a bug in mplayer. I think currently there's no way to do the same in smplayer with mpv.

I've selected save screenshot as jpg using mplayer but it still only saves as png. Not sure whats changed. Is there a way to make it save to jpg that's not in these general settings? Thanks
