Hi,
I didn't find a suitable option to zoom 2.35:1 videos to 115% for 16:9 monitors automatically.
The similar issue is for 4:3 videos that should (in my opinion) automatically zoom to 120% to "fit" in 16:9 monitors without loosing to much of the pictures above/under the screen borders.

Serious? You watch 4:3 videos strechted to 16:9 ?

I do, yes. If you prefer a zoom effect, the manual also has an option for it explaining its parameters.

Manual for mpv: -

SMPlayer also has zoom options, accessed from the Video menu with labeled key binds that can be used per video instead of a global setting like the mpv option above.

What I need is a certain zoom depending on the original aspect ratio.
