subtitle settings aren't working

why is my attempt to change the subtitle settings doesn't work? It always reverts back to Arial whenever I switched it to other fonts. Same goes for other settings on that tab.
I'm on Windows 10 64bit. SMPlayer Version: 18.3.0 (revision 8959) (64-bit)
