God does not want me to use the mpv player. Please help

1. How do I add the stream url to mpv player? I used until now for the mpv player the great extension "Video Assistant" for the old Firefox. Without this addon, I would not know how I could stream with the mpv player.

I have windows 10 64bit and just want to stream. The streaming capability (buffering) of the mpv is amazing. But unfortunately I have this mega buffer effect only on a single website. I do not know why.

3. I downloaded the player from sourceforge.net. But I can not find the config file. With the search "mpv" in Windows on the system hard disk Windows finds something for mpv. But no "config". I think the described folder "etc" is synonymous more Linux, right?

The SMPlayer installer downloads and installs youtube-dl. In order to use mpv just select it as multimedia engine in preferences -> general.
