I need to modify mplayer source code. I receive 25 jpeg images per second and want to redirect this images to mplayer. So it shows them for me.
I need a developer to explain to me how I can accomplish this, what source and headers files I need to modify, and the estimated CPU usage for 25fps.

mplayer can play jpeg images from a folder but I found that when it's called from smplayer to play the images it crashes so I have to figure out why.
