Flatpak Support

I've used SmPlayer on Mint and for me it is hands down the best video interface available.

However I've been looking at other distros where there is no ppa/rpm etc available.

Any possibility of Flatpak support down the road? Linux is so fragmented it would seem to be a good way to distribute apps.
