DVD Skips/Jumps in version 3584
Posted: Tue Sep 07, 2010 6:27 pm
Hello,
When I play certain DVDs (like Empire Strikes Back) in smplayer, within 25 seconds the movie will stutter, pause, and jump.. giving the following error below.
I have tried setting cache.. changing video & audio drivers... no change.
My machines are Win7_64, i7, 8GB RAM and Win7, CoreDuo2.7 GHz, 4GB, I highly doubt they are too slow.. something else is going on..
This was introduced with the newest mplayer build from Netfarm OSS (which I need for some other code I have written)..
The previous version of mplayer plays DVDs okay, but lacks more recent code that I need.
I'm wondering if the problem is from some setting in smplayer clashing with something in the new mplayer or something.. any ideas?
