smplayer couldn't launch

Hi,

While I was reorganizing favorites items in sms player ( version from january ) using Add , Ok, the smplayer crashed .I tried to start the player again , but it couldn't launch .I installed the latest version successfully , after installation I tried to run it- appeared the config font box which loads to 20 % and disappeared.I couldn't launch it again .I see that smplayer appears only for a couple of seconds in processes of task manager.
OS- XP professional.

Any suggestions , thank you

Try this: install one of the development packages () but check the option to reset the smplayer configuration in the installer.

I tried it, but the player can't be started, .Only portable version and umplayer run .This week I haven't installed any software.I've used smplayer for a long time , I didn't have problem.It worked smoothly , i have hundreds of favorites items, I watch youtube video too much .
Anything else to try , unfortunately , I don't have an image file of xp .

Try to delete all files in the smplayer configuration folder except the favorites (the m3u8 files) and see if that works.

I did it, and again no success.But I decided to remove all m3u8 files to another folder and then the smplayer starts successfully .So, It inclines me to think that one of the m3u8 files is the reason for the unsuccessful start-up of the player .Probably one of the favorite files is broken ,I suppose ,of course .
Now the problem is that after restoring m3u8 files to their original folder smplayer runs , but cann't recognize them .Is there any possibility files to be associated with the player ? I will check them by adding to the player one by one to see which is the broken one if this is the reason .

It would be very useful if you could zip all m3u8 files and send them to me (by private message or email) so I can figure out what is preventing smplayer to launch and fix it.
