SMPlayer unst. r5473: YouTube 100% again

Hello SMPlayer developers and all,

After being unable to watch many You Tube videos I installed smplayer-0.8.5.5473-win32.exe (upgrade from smplayer-0.8.5 stable).
All videos from You Tube can now be watched by use of SMPlayer and downloaded by the YouTube browser again.

Windows XP-home (32-bit)
smplayer-0.8.5.5473-win32

when the youtube URLs are entered in SMP, are they showing http or https? They won't play for me (using portable), if the URL is https.
Are you manually deleting the 's'? Or, is your connection to youtube not https?

Hmmm.... just figured out that youtube is one site in the addon HTTPS Everywhere list, in Fx - to force secure connection.
There's a reason sites offer / use https. I'm not sure what the possible issues are for using insecure connection to youtube in a browser (depending on whether logged in - or not). Then implications of using insecure connection in SMP - video URLs.

I can play youtube videos with https in linux. It seems Qt comes without support for SSL in windows.
