New updater – remarks

Hello SMPlayer developers and all,

While using the latest version of SMPlayer: 0.8.5+SVN-r5487 (32-bit),
today I received an update message from SMPlayer, to update from 0.8.5 to 0.8.5.5487.

Update sequence:

22 June: 0.8.5.5473
24 June: 0.8.5.5481
26 June: 0.8.5.5485
28 June: 0.8.5.5487

Note: The latest version – smplayer-0.8.5.5487-win32.exe – was downloaded from the redxii-unstable folder at Sourceforge.net.

As a side note: Thanks for your quick reaction on the You Tube changes.

Hello SMPlayer developers and all,

It seems to me the “new updater” problems while using a SVN version of SMPlayer have been fixed with the release of smplayer-0.8.5.5490(-win32).

Upgraded from smplayer-0.8.5.5487-win32 to smplayer-0.8.5.5490-win32 on the 3th July.
Setting: Preferences > Updates > Check for updates = marked, Check interval (in days) = 1.
Still no update message from SMPlayer.
